I am of the firm belief that the majority of people across the globe can and do benefit from either/or both Coaching and Counseling healing modalities at various stages of their life journey. Coaching being a more appropriate self/soul enhancing modality for those who are seeking self discovery at a soul level and who are NOT experiencing acute psychological debilitating distress from symptoms of severe depression, anxiety, PTSD, suicidal ideations and/or psychosis. Whereby Counseling becomes the appropriate means to achieve healing and stability for one who is suffering from any number of acute psychological issues mentioned above.
While my favorite distinction between Coaching and Counseling lies within my mentoring Life Coach’s definition and summary between the two modalities...
“Basically, Coaching is focusing on what we want more of so we can have more of what we want and Therapy (Counseling) is focusing on what we want less of so we can move on and have more of what we want. They are both valuable and beneficial and can even be complementary…”

As Souls residing within this human 3 dimensional form and experience, often we forget our Soul’s original purpose and intentions! Yet, so many of us in varying stages of our human development either gradually or (for some) very suddenly, begin to tap into glimpses of our Soul’s original intentions. Some would call this the start to their “Awakening”. A spiritually guided Coaching experience can serve to provide, enhance, clarify, affirm and objectivity to these new ever emerging influx of (sometimes overwhelming) intuitive derived glimpses of our “souls urges”. Further, a Coach is able to offer a client in addition to objective perspectives a deeper “mirroring’ reflection of themselves to even further obtain enhanced personal insights that friends or loved ones cannot. A Spiritual Coach can help to normalize the stages of what can feel like a most profound personal and spiritual LIFE CRISIS while providing ongoing gentle support going forth.
Seemingly by you merely finding me here, today, suggests that you followed some sort of intuitive process. While I sense clarity will readily be found within your post “gut feeling” following our joint initial complimentary Coaching/Counseling Session. Whereby, you will then have answers to the following internal questions “Will this person both affirm as well as challenge me?”; “Is this person both a skilled empathetic listener and one whom I can trust?”; “Does this person get the essence of me?”; “Can I learn further soul enhancing insights working with this person?”; “Does this person present within an authentic open hearted place?”
While each person will have their own very personal reasons or motivations for seeking out a personal Coach/Counselor, most of us are drawn or called to “it”. When I elected some years back to seek out the skills and benefits of a Life Coaching relationship, I was motivated by that intuitive inner voice of my soul, who whispered both softly as well as routinely “You need to seek that which is seeking you…” Although initially not aware of “that” which I did not yet know, I went forward seemingly within a place of blind faith as my basic cornerstone. I had a strong inner sense that I had accumulated a large assortment of varying life skills and tools however I had a hunch that a personal Coach could better assist me in both organizing my current tool box as well as help me in developing/enhancing new skills and tools to advance me even further in better understanding the pursuit of my soul’s intentions in this lifetime.
